Story
Rettu Clothing
Rettu Clothing Oy was founded in 2025.
Rettu Clothing is a clothing brand that was born out of frustration. When good looking shirt turns out to be thin and ill-fitting. Or when
a simple shirt has been made too complicated, just because it
should stand out. Or when you find a garment with a nice print, but it's
spoiled by extra text.
We wanted to do something different. Something
better and more durable. Clothes that feel and look good, fit
properly and withstands use.
We don't make soulless mass. We make
small collections carefully and properly. Calmly but seriously.
Responsibility
Every piece of clothing is produced with values above
- respecting the environment and people. We don't make fast fashion by following trends,
but we make wardrobe treasures that you want to wear day in and day out
to another.
We conduct extensive background research before
the choice of our partners, because we want to ensure that each partner also
operates according to our values.
Clothing manufacturing
Responsible for the production of clothes
a European company committed to offering only products that
respect the environment and people.
Used in the manufacture of clothing
responsibly grown GOTS organic cotton.
The company pays its employees an additional salary in addition to their basic salary and also enables
other benefits. Employees are offered, among other things, commuting, healthcare
and daycare for their children. Working conditions are closely monitored and are good
and safe.
Printing/embroidery
All printing or embroidery on our clothing
takes place in Finland.
Waterbased ink screen printing uses
water-based and organic colors.
This is at the same time responsible, sustainable and
the best way to print.
Packaging materials
Packaging materials are supplied by us
a Finnish company whose products are made from renewable and/or
from recycled materials.
In addition to many certificates, the products have
also environmental labeling. Key values for the company are responsibility,
climate neutrality, circular economy, justice and equality.
Logistics
We don't want to burden the environment unnecessarily,
so all the products/materials we need travel by land and
by sea.
